Row your heart out for brain cancer
Hosted by the Robert Connor Dawes (RCD) Foundation, Connor's Erg is a virtual erg challenge that started between rowing teams at universities across the United States and has now expanded to the top rowing squads, gyms and schools around the world.
- Set Your Own Challenge: Throughout February 2025, gyms, schools, rowing clubs, and individuals can register and complete a rowing challenge of their choice, anytime, anywhere.
- Join Us In Person: Gather your team and head to Greenfields, Albert Park, on Sunday, 23 February, for an inspiring day of rowing and community spirit.
Rowing teams are encouraged to pick a suitable day and time during February. Traditionally the event is done in relay fashion, however rowing clubs/schools/gyms can set their own erg challenge- all to raise awareness and funds for paediatric brain cancer, the #1 cancer killer of young people in Australia.

ONE DAY LIVE EVENT
Row 120 minutes for the 120 kids diagnosed with brain cancer in Australia each year.
We’re inviting teams of 4-6 members to row their hearts out for brain cancer, competing in a 120 minute relay challenge for the 120 kids (under 12 years of age) who are diagnosed with brain cancer each year.
Entry is free, however we ask all teams who plan to compete to commit to a $1000 fundraising target. and participants who fundraise $35 or more will receive a limited edition Connor’s Erg singlet. Teams are also required to bring their own erg.
Inspired by a big heart and brain, the Robert Connor Dawes (RCD) Foundation was created in 2013 in the memory of 18-year-old Robert Connor Dawes. The foundation is battling paediatric brain cancer, which kills more children than any other disease, through funding research, care and development projects.
