Row your heart out for brain cancer
Hosted by the Robert Connor Dawes (RCD) Foundation, Connor's Erg is a virtual 100km Erg challenge that started between rowing teams at Universities across the United States and has now expanded to the top rowing squads around the world.
Rowing teams are encouraged to pick a suitable day and time during February 2023. Traditioanlly the event is done in relay fashion, however rowing clubs/schools/gyms can set their own erg challenge- all to raise awareness and funds for paediatric brain cancer, the #1 cancer killer of young people in Australia.
Inspired by a big heart and brain, the Robert Connor Dawes (RCD) Foundation was created in 2013 in the memory of 18-year-old Robert Connor Dawes. The foundation is battling paediatric brain cancer, which kills more children than any other disease, through funding research, care and development projects.
